Hey buddy! Light weight baby!

So, I'm wasting time looking at youtube videos... went on a tangent trying to find this one bodybuilder guy doing this cool robot choragraphy for Mr. Olympia or whatever. I couldn't find it, but I found something better...

His name is Ronnie Coleman, and he won Mr. Olympia 8 times in a row. Coincidentally, he has the same birthday as myself, and he is the same height as I am, yet he is over twice as heavy as I am, of course.

As if extremely muscular men with high pitched voices wasn't funny enough... this guy takes the weightlifting videos of Ronnie Coleman, and removes all the weightlifting. The result is hilarious.

uhhhhhhhh wow

Ok so i'm up late looking at a bunch of Nintendo stuff. I have to say this... despite how much you may (or may not) have heard this, the new nintendo console will be revolutionary. The 360, while being a pretty decent media center, only compares to the nintendo in the graphics spectrum of games. I don't think it will compare as much in the gameplay. Here are some movies you will need to check out... all found on google video of course :/ I think they speak for themselves. Just amazing stuff.

1: a sweet preview for just the controller
2: hilarious parody of that preview
3: a low graphic vid of how the controller works
4: a cool teaser, tells stuff about it
5: Nintendo Revolution presentation E3 2005
6: and a fan's take on that E3 thing

I think I want to buy one. I've never bought a console in my life. Unless you count my gameboy advance, but I don't.

King Kong

I couldn't think of a better subject title than the movie. Sorry.

Step aside gay people with AIDs, 'cause a 25 foot gorilla dying is way more heart-rending.

God damn. This movie is just utterly fantastic. Example: "Thats right ladies and gentlemen, I am touching the beast." -Jack Black. Yep, Jack Black is funny, the Giant Gorilla (makes mental note for spinoff movie title) is awesome, and Adrien Brody is a hottie. And giant bugs are gross, and dinasaurs are friggen sweet, and Peter Jackson is a FRIGGEN GENIUS, and NAOMI WATTS IS SMOKIN HOTT, AND... AND.... ANDY SERKIS!! ROFL!

Interesting sidenote, the part of King Kong was played by Andy Serkis, who also played the Lumpy the chef on board the boat taking them all to their doom. But... he also played Smeogol/Gollum in the LOTR trilogy. AND... in the movie before King Kong, he played a granny, a rastafarian, and someone named Hunter Jackson.

Anywho.... uhhhh. Yeah. I'm done trying to think up stuff. King Kong = Best Picture 2005. Better than Rent, better than Harry Potter, better than damn Star Wars, better than Madafuckingascar, better than ezra, better than better than ezra.

Fuck the police.

Now read this funny conversation between a friend and myself. And ponder it anyway if you dont find it funny. The question that is, not the joke. Whatever, quit yer bickering, just read.

FRIEND (3:44:56 AM): This is just a hypothetical question, but what would you do if you had someone elses credit card with a 10k limit on it, and you were on someone elses wireless network.
FRIEND (3:45:00 AM): what would you do?
FRIEND (3:46:15 AM): There's no way to get caught b/c they couldn't trace it to you ever... you wouldn't be a little tempted to do it?

MYSELF (3:46:32 AM): and I dont know the person?

FRIEND (3:46:44 AM): nope

MYSELF (3:46:45 AM): and its not a capital one card?

FRIEND (3:46:55 AM): doesn't matter what it is.

MYSELF (3:47:11 AM): but with capital one they arent liable for fraudulant charges

FRIEND (3:47:25 AM): you have the guys name, number, address, card number, pin, security code on the back of the card, his email address etc.
FRIEND (3:47:33 AM): lol, you sound like a commerical

(PS. go get the new Mike Doughty album... he was the lead singer of Soul Coughing... 'nuff said)

Greetings

I'm back. For the sole purpose of your entertainment. Google video rocks. and here is a little bit of proof: stewie's sexy party music video

Haha wasn't that great? take a bath federline. ahh, fun times.

On the subject of sexy... who the fuck does this to their kid, and then posts it on the internet: large breasted 11 month old

I'm too lazy to rant about it. so watch it and do the ranting yourself. and while your at it, browse around video.google.com at your own leisure. Fun stuff on that there internet.

if you want to hear about my life... well fuck you. or just ask or something.. i dunno.

Now, the ever important decision: what should I song should I listen to while writing this so I can post that I listened to it?

so now.... about college

long time no type.

I have officially become a member of the college community of Kalamazoo. Attending Western Michigan University was a good idea.

I live in a dorm room with 2 room mates. One is a 3rd year the other a 2nd. Knew 'em both before through my brother, both cool guys. I am comfortably and efficiently situated on one wall, with my brand new IKEA loft, and Wal-Mart desk (both of which I had to assemble myself, and the desk took forever). I brought this bookshelf that i've had since I was 5 or something. It was painted back then too, with little automobile, and plane, and train symbols stenciled on too. It may look kinda kiddy, but it fits all my books, and holds up my monitor, which is too heavy to be held up by my desk. As you can probably tell, i'm quite happy about how everything in this little spot sufficiently substitutes my entire house.

As for classes, so far they have been quite nice. College, I have come to realize, is the opposite of high school in many ways. The classes you took are the ones you choose to take. You take less classes. You get to stretch your legs between classes, (I always found walking between classes relaxing :P). There aren't problems with students, since they understand that they are there to learn, not to "get put down by the man" (translate that quote into whatever sentence it most relates to your typical problem student). Also, the teachers are usually the last ones to class.

Other than studying I have gotten drawn back into World of Warcraft :/. I also joined the computer club. There is a lot more to the computer club than computers, even though we all enjoy incorporating them, and using them, and even though its the main focus. We have begun these events that have been called "hack-nights", "geek-outs", and a few other things (we dont really have a settled name yet). Basically, we decide on something to do, and do it. I missed a couple when I was still in Glen Ellyn, but at the first one i attended, we built a table. Now, you may be thinking "oh wow, a table" in some sort of sarcastic matter, but it was fun. The purpose of this table is so that we have a place to work on other projects. We went to Lowes, bought some 2x4s, and a really nice flat piece of wood for the table top. Took us a while to get it all strapped down to the top of the truck. Then we cut, and assembled the frame, screwed everything together, and its one bitchin' table.

Then we still had lots of time on our hands, so we started brainstorming. "Let's mod the table!". So we thought of how to mod it. "Cupholders!" "How about a black paint job, and flames!" "A spoiler!". Ok, so some of them weren't so serious, but we decided to put power outlets in the table, since we would most likely have to power various electronic equipment during our geek-outs. So we went back to Lowes, and got everything we needed, and then had a blast cutting up the table. We cut 3 holes to fit 2 outlets each. then we cut holes for the power cables to run through the 2x4 frame right under the table-top. Then we wired everything, and even wired in a fuse-box. So now we have a table with its own fuse-box, which also serves as a power switch.

The sky's the limit from there: electronics, robots, more table-modding, food, beer, whatever. Anything that interests us really. We may build a computer into the table soon, as well. :)

Ok lots of stuff, but hell, I haven't written in this thing in ages, and very rarely do I write about my personal life on here, so Happy Birthday. Hope you enjoy.

I'm stealing from Judd's myspace..

David "Elsewhere" Bernal.

If you haven't heard of him, you may have seen him anyway.
here he is in a clip posted on ebaumsworld, and many other places on the net. He is very well known for his unique style of dancing. His influences include machinery, animals, plants... basically how any non dancing things dance.

here is an interview with him. interesting insight into the guy.

But most importantly. Check this last one out. (this is the part i stole from Judd) He got a deal with volkswagen to be the human part in the remix of singing in the rain. It's amazing.

check it out

note that the only special effects are superimposing Gene Kelly's face over David's.

Yes. Mr. Elsewhere is really capable of all those moves.

Fantastic

so now. let's make a new entry. follow along kids
*waves for you to come along like mr. rogers.

*sexually frustrated sigh*
*sits down*

it's a beatiful day. well, not really. it's been hot, and randomly raining boiling water. but hey lets shut the hell up and talk business.

2005, so far, has been a good year for media related objects. Some good stuff has been hittin the shelves and slurpin the movie screens. I'm bored enough. So i'm gonna tell you about some of it.

--==MOVIES==--
Kingdom of Heaven:
worthy of winning some picture of the year awards, and in my oppinoin, as good as gladiator. hands down. fantastic plot, and orlando bloom actually impressed me. i was skeptical at first, as he did have so many puny roles leading up to this one (ie. pirates of the buttibean, lord of the rings, troy) he didnt seem up to snuff with holding a big sword over his head for more than 2 minutes. Mr. Liam Neeson (one of my favorites, as well as being batman's tutor in the new movie W00T!) also played a good role. Amazing fight scenes. nuff said.

Unleashed:
Luc Besson is a genius. He wrote The Fifth Element, The Transporter, and Taxi (this is a good movie, even though it has Latifa and Fallon, rent it. you will be surprised.)

Unfortunately, whoever decided how to market the film in america is a retard. Originally a film named "Danny the Dog", Unleashed was released in europe a while ago with the proper attention paid to the story, which was not given with its release on american soil. It was advertised as just another Jet Li movie. Yet it was a lot more. But Jet Li fans were mostly (i guess) disapointed, and Jet Li haters didn't see the movie. Many probobally didnt even know Morgan Freeman was in it, let alone know that it had a plot.

The story is about a man raised from childhood to be a killer. Leashed like a dog, he kills on whomever his master commands. He is suddenly shoved into the real world, and, like a young boy, begins to discover life, love, and happiness, some things he was neglected while he was a dog. They got a great cast for this one. Jet Li does very well. Morgan Freeman is awesome, as always. Bob Hoskins (if you've seen Who's Framed Roger Rabbit, he's the detective, if you haven't, go see it) plays a convincing bad guy boss dood. This movie has amazing fight scenes choreographed by friggen Yuen Wo Ping (best known in the United States for acting as the fight choreographer for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and the Matrix trilogy). Li has a really sweet fight scene with Michael Ian Lambert, who (for those interested in these types of things) is going to be doing stunt work in the new Beowulf and Grendel movie. Go see it. It is a very good movie.

The Longest Yard
Based off the original movie starring Burt Reynolds, comes a new very good version. This one stars Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, and Burt Reynolds. Also has Nelly, Steve Austin, Goldberg (jeez, wrestlers do voices for a shitload of video games.), Tracy Morgan, and many others along with Cloris Leachman as an old weird woman who has her way with Adam Sandler. (Measurements: 37C-21-34 (as Miss Chicago 1946) (lol, off imdb.com)). haha. holy shit. Just found out she played the grandma in Bad Santa.

So. The plot is sweet. Inmates get a chance to beat up the guards who freely beat them up all the time. They are coached by a washed up football superstar (Adam Sandler) and become quite a good football team. Great character development, many characters. Overall fun movie. Rob Schneider shows up at the end for some reason.

Madagascar
Dreamworks rarely makes good plots. But they occasionally get the right characters. Madagascar's lack of a good conflict was made up for by the constant character interaction of the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Cedric the Entertainer, Andy Richter, Sacha Baron Cohen (aka Ali G...) and Tom McGrath (who also directed the movie, as well as the nickolodeon tv series Kablam).

Movie about a zebra named Marty who doesn't like living in a zoo, decides to go to the wild. His friends follow, attempting to bring him back and get him out of his funk. They fail and end up getting shipped to Africa with him. Alex the Lion discovers he's a carnivore, and they try to find a way to feed his hunger. Meanwhile the penguins are taking over, and the monkies are constantly discussing who they should fling poo at.

notice i'm not mentioning star wars...

Beowulf and Grendel
The War of the Worlds

real entry

and now for the first entry that has to do with my life and nothing but. I separated my shoulder today. my collar bone came off and stretched or tore through some ligaments, and is not touching my shoulder anymore. So i will not be wrestling in tomorrow's sectional meet against Naperville North. Which really sucks, because i was looking forward to this meet a lot. And now i'll probobally have to wear one of those shoulder immobilizers that wraps around my arm and waist or chest or something. Ok, done whining. Now somebody buy me some candy or something.
